A year ago, we opened our Blue Earth Medicine clinic, and we've been blown away by the outpouring of love, support, and interest in naturopathic medicine. We believe in the healing power of nature, and with Dr. Jill's proper support and guidance, remarkable healing changes can occur. We believe each patient has the potential to take control of their health and live a richly satisfying life.
We've witnessed some truly breathtaking results for many of our patients, and those experiencing the most profound results have one thing in common: they closely and willingly follow the medical advice from Dr. Jill, follow her treatment plan, take a proactive approach, and stay accountable to their own progress. That often means booking regular visits, more initially, then fewer over time, until attaining the level of success they desire. It's heartwarming to be a small part of our patient's healing journey.
Because naturopathic medicine relies on the collaborative efforts between patient and doctor, it's not the perfect fit for everyone. Having the right mindset (willing to trust the healing power of naturopathic medicine and Dr. Jill's knowledge and experience) and putting in the work. There is a difference, both philosophically and practically, between what happens in large medical institutions and what we do at Blue Earth Medicine – specifically, we treat the whole body (mind and spirit), not simply one part at a time, and while there is a time and place for symptom suppression, that's not our first inclination. We strive to dig deep, understanding how your life (present and past) impacts your current health, and that sometimes means taking significant time to address past traumas to understand the entire health picture so healing can finally begin.
We are grateful to our growing community of naturopathic patients. As we continue to grow and learn, we hope you continue to be a part of our family of patients. And, as you learn more about your health, let us know if you have ideas about how we can better serve you. We've discussed how it might be nice to have a monthly support group that helps us stay accountable to ourselves – and we've initially considered a Food Intolerance group since adjusting to a new way of staying healthy can be challenging, and that's not lost on us. Give us a shout if you have other ideas or are interested in the Food Intolerance group ideas – drop a note to brad at Hello@BlueEarthMedicine.com
Again, thank you for letting us help you and being a part of our community.
In health,
Dr. Jill & Brad
